Qatar5G

The Signal & The Handshake

Terms of Service are not legal boilerplate; they are the engineering specification for how our network interacts with your digital life. We believe clarity is a feature. By accessing qatar5g.qa, you enter a pact of transparency and mutual respect.

This document outlines the operational boundaries, rights, and responsibilities that ensure the Qatar5G network remains secure, reliable, and fair for every connected user in Qatar. Read it not just to comply, but to understand the architecture of trust we build together.

Jurisdictional Anchor

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar. Any dispute arising from the use of Qatar5G services shall be resolved within the competent courts of Doha. By proceeding, you acknowledge this legal foundation.

Effective Date: 15 October 2026

Version: 4.2.1

The Architecture of Access

Access to the Qatar5G network and our digital platforms is a licensed privilege, not an inherent right. We operate a closed-loop authentication system designed to filter malicious traffic and ensure bandwidth integrity for all subscribers. This section defines the vectors of authorized use.

01. Authorization Protocols

By creating an account, you warrant that all information provided is accurate and current. You are responsible for safeguarding your authentication credentials. Any activity detected from your terminal is presumed to be authorized by you. Qatar5G reserves the right to suspend access immediately if anomalous traffic patterns suggest credential compromise or violation of local cybersecurity regulations.

02. Acceptable Use Vectors

Our bandwidth is a shared resource. While we do not throttle specific content types for revenue purposes, we strictly prohibit usage that degrades network stability. This includes running unauthorized server farms on residential tiers, utilizing residential plans for commercial data center operations, or initiating DDoS campaigns. Commercial use requires an Enterprise tier subscription.

Network Uptime Metrics

Continuity & The Service Level Agreement

We do not promise "five nines" of uptime in this document because we prefer to show it in our performance metrics. However, the Service Level Agreement (SLA) is the guarantee of our engineering integrity. For Enterprise clients, we offer financial credits if latency exceeds 20ms or uptime drops below 99.9% monthly.

Force Majeure & Maintenance

Scheduled maintenance windows are communicated 48 hours in advance via the client portal. Unplanned outages caused by physical infrastructure damage (fiber cuts, power grid failure, or extreme weather events common to the Gulf region) are exempt from SLA credit calculations. We prioritize restoration speed over procedural transparency during crisis events.

Compliance & Regulatory Framework

Adherence to Qatar's digital sovereignty laws.

🛡️

Data Localization

All user metadata and traffic logs are processed and stored within secure data centers located in Qatar, in compliance with the Qatar National AI Strategy and Personal Data Privacy Law.

⚖️

Content Filtering

We strictly adhere to the directives of the Ministry of Transport and Communications regarding prohibited content. Automated filters operate at the network edge to block malicious and illegal domains.

📋

Digital Identification

Subscribers must validly verify their identity using valid QID or commercial registration documents. Anonymity is not supported on the Qatar5G network to ensure national security.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by the laws of the State of Qatar, Qatar5G, its affiliates, officers, directors, and employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business interruption, arising out of or in connection with the use of or inability to use the service.

This includes, without limitation, any:

  • Errors, mistakes, or inaccuracies of content.
  • Personal injury or property damage resulting from your access to or use of the service.
  • Any unauthorized access to or use of our secure servers and/or any personal information stored therein.
  • Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the service.

TOTAL LIABILITY: UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL QATAR5G'S AGGREGATE LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE PRECEDING THREE (3) MONTHS. THIS IS A FUNDAMENTAL ELEMENT OF THE BASIS OF THE BARGAIN.

Legal Logic & Methodology

Assumptions

  • • User is an individual or entity with capacity to contract under Qatari law.
  • • Internet connectivity is subject to external variables beyond our control.
  • • Cyber threats evolve; static rules are insufficient for modern defense.

Constraints

  • • Qatar5G cannot guarantee 100% uptime due to external infrastructure dependencies.
  • • We cannot override national data retention mandates.
  • • Liability is capped by insurance policies and local statutes.

What Changes Our View

New precedents in digital liability law in Qatar, significant shifts in international bandwidth routing costs, or the emergence of quantum-resistant encryption standards may necessitate revisions to these terms. We review this framework quarterly.
